Silk Residence

Silk Residence is an urban regeneration project that will breathe new life into a former industrial site, transforming it into a modern, green and sustainable neighborhood.

The development has been designed following the principle of the “15-minute neighborhood”, where everything is within close proximity, allowing you to enjoy more leisure time without sacrificing your vibrant lifestyle.

Here you will find the first urban forest, with over 2400 planted trees and over 40.500 square meters of green spaces with very limited auto vehicle access.

A concrete tube, placed at the center of the house, replaces the conventional hallway. This element is not only functional, but also spatial and experiential. It connects the house while creating a distinct atmosphere through natural light.
The tube is perforated by skylights, allowing light to enter and change throughout the day. Moving through the house becomes more than circulation. It becomes part of the experience.
